- Silent rain (2024), composed for solo accordion, resembles polyrhythmic sound drops, crashing against various surfaces. The composition is characterised by a more open notation in terms of rhythm and agogic and textural changes, as well as by the use of mechanical sounds produced by the very instrument. The narrative takes the shape of “water” – smooth, seemingly unbreakable, interspersed with neutral, consonant chords. Silent rain is a silent observation of small elements – atoms that together build evolving structures inside the piece.
