Luminous Gardens is an ambient space in which the listener freely chooses the paths, voices, and layers they wish to engage with. The structure of the composition is shaped by consonances and harmonic frameworks that form the narrative and define the segments of its individual sections—sound gardens. The musical material consists of vocal-instrumental motifs interspersed with sections of silence, alongside processed field recordings interwoven with pads recorded on a Roland Juno-6 synthesizer. Light, sonic “organisms,” space, and resonance are the key elements that make up the sound environment of Luminous Gardens.
