The composition is characterised by a more open notation in terms of rhythm and agogic and textural changes, as well as by the use of mechanical sounds produced by the very instrument. The narrative takes the shape of \u201cwater\u201d \u2013 smooth, seemingly unbreakable, interspersed with neutral, consonant chords.
